Why psychotherapy?

If you are reading this, something inside you might be wondering if counselling could help. Perhaps life feels a bit overwhelming right now. Maybe you are tired of pretending everything is fine when it is not. Or maybe you are just feeling stuck, unsure, or emotionally exhausted — and you are not even sure why.

You are not alone!

Life can be tough. We all face moments of stress, loss, relationship issues, anxiety, low self-esteem, or big life changes. Sometimes, we do not even have the words for what we are feeling, but we just know we are not okay.

That is where counselling comes in.

Talking to a professional, in a safe and confidential space, can make a real difference. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Counselling is not about someone telling you what to do — it is about helping you make sense of things, and providing you with the tools to find your own way forward.

I am here to listen without judgment, to help you explore what is going on, and to work with you at your pace. Whether you are dealing with something specific, just need someone to talk to, or need a space for yourself, counselling can help you reconnect with yourself and gain clarity, confidence, and relief.

Bereavement

Grief is something everyone experiences in their life. Loss can bring deep pain and confusion, and grief therapy can help you to rebuild meaning and connection in your life. Together we can create a compassionate space to explore and process your emotions, to support your healing and growth.

Trauma

Trauma is an emotional wound that leaves a lasting impact, often presenting in low mood, anxiety, depression, or diminished self-esteem. Through therapy, these experiences can be understood and processed, allowing you to move forward with self-compassion and resilience.

Expatriate Experience

Living away from your home country can provide new perspectives, but also a feeling of disconnection, identity shifts, and emotions that are hard to describe. I offer support to navigate cultural transitions, a sense of belonging, and the often invisible emotional load of living between worlds.
